Ali Hahlo began her study of Yoga in 1993 in London. She qualified as an Introductory teacher with the IYA(UK) in 2007 (a nationally recognised qualification), having trained in the Iyengar Institute in Maida Vale under the tuition of Sallie Sullivan and Stephen Richardson. She maintains her personal practise and continues to study through attendance at conventions and workshops with senior teachers. She is now training to qualify as an Intermediate teacher. She lives in Lewes with her husband and 2 daughters.
Ali teaches a number of classes in Lewes, both at the Subud Centre in Station Street as well as as her home studio. As well as teaching ADULTS OF ALL AGES she has recently started classes for CHILDREN and TEENAGERS . She is known for her enthusiastic and straightforward style of teaching. She believes in YOGA FOR ALL - that the practise of yoga postures and breathing can bring tremendous benefits to everyone, old and young. men and women, supple and stiff.
